My 2008 Fat Bob in black pearl is in storage untill spring. That can come late up here. Willmar MN. Had a 1200 custom for a while and really enjoy the fatty. Temp last week was -33f in the mornings when I went out to milk cows, highs only made it to -10f a couple of days. Only mods so far are Rush 1.75 slip ons, kuryakin switchblades, and essentials kit. Next mod will be LED three bar tail light. Take care MG.
Believe it or not, sometimes the summers get so miserable hot and muggy that I park it during that season. This is prime riding weather down here, though. It was about 67 at lunchtime and blue skies.
Of course, it's always crazy woman in a minivan season down here.
I had similar experience when I thought I wanted a Rocker. Took it for a test ride and thought Humm... not really what I expected.
Then took out a few other models and finally the Fat Bob. I knew right then and there the Fat Bob was for me. Ended up buying one a month ago and love it.
Great choice on the Fat Bob and with the mods it will rock. I test road a Crossbones and its not the bike for me. The seating position was all wrong could be my height or lack of it.
