Default The rest of the story

After I posted about the new Fat Bob in my excitement yesterday, I realized that I made an incredible mistake. I asked a lot of questions during the closing, but I didn't verify the price I'd negotiated. Hell, the only reason I bought it before I was ready is because they claimed to be giving me a great price that I may not get the next month (before Bike Week).

So, I check the Sales Order and find out that the price was $500 over MSRP, not what I expected. I felt stupid, possibly cheated, and had a fitful night of sleeping. Having spent so many hours there until closing time, I was tired, loopy, and had a headache. Stupid mistake on my part and I was considerably upset with myself for such a basic mistake.

This morning, I walked in and showed the sales order to my salesman. His eyes pop open and agrees with me that it's not what we agreed. It turns out that they screwed up by switching managers on duty during my paperwork process. One hand didn't know what the other was doing. Fortunately, they corrected by refinancing and it knocked $1575 off the bill, as expected. Now I'm all happy again. At any rate, I'm saved from my own foolishness and all happy again. Here's a snap of my bike in the garage, awaiting its new engine bits.

I guess I bought the bike twice and only get to ride it home once.

Another STEALER up to their old tricks. You can bet if YOU didn't catch this THEY wouldn't have corrected it! It sucks that so many MC dealers are jerks! (No all are dishonest but a lot are) I'm glad you caught it and got it corrected! You'll love the bike. Compaired with your other ride it'll feel like a nimbal sport bike!
