Default fat bob vs cross bones

i am new to riding and am looking for info on which bike is better for me. i am 6'4'' and 215lbs. i like the fat bob and the cross bones and can't decide between the two. the info i'm looking for is which bike would be a better fit for a person my size?

your best bet would be to go rent both for a few hours and see which one you like better.

Ya you need to try them both. If you ask me, between those two, it would be the X-bones

Really depends on what type of riding you are going to do - fatbob handles a lot better and is quicker

These are two very diffrent bikes you need to really look into what you want from your HD, this is a big purchase and you want to get it right.

This was my take on it when I read his post. They are two totally different animals. The Fat Bob is a sporty bike designed to be ridden aggressively while the x-bones with the springer front end, single disc and high bars is more of a laid back cruiser.

My choice would put a vote for the Fat Bob.

Geeeezzzz......do ya really wanna take this thread there?I'm 6'3'' an almost as heavy after a good meal...an' I ride a Softail.....but ya should really ride several before ya decide.....my

(with yer height,in the Dyna line, I'd give the Wide Glide serious thought)

If you're looking for a bike that "fits your size" then just go and sit on each. Take a test ride. But... that is surely not the only determining factor you'll use to base your decision.

A touring bike But, if you are deciding between those two, go with the crossbones.
