I am almost done building mine and just found out my neighbor owns the body shop on the corner... he said after house i can use the booth whenever i need. DANG! love the sceme flows so well, very nice man... what types of paints are you shooting and what kind of guns you using? i love how you laid out the flames! just love it!
I own a shop , its a nice Blowtherm Downdraft with an oven ...As much as ( especially in Mass. ) this business can suck at times, it has it's advantages too.
I have a Sikkens Mixing machine, ( autobase plus, we aren't waterborne yet in mass. ) The black is just their 140 deep black tint and binder, the Green Is a color I concocted myself, but I logged the weights on the scale and saved the formula so I could mix it again if needed. I'm actually spraying everything out of my old Devilbiss OMX ....man I love that gun.

Mine won't be nearly as many steps as yours. Only one color, no pinstriping, and no clear. I'll try to get some pics up soon, but the wife has the camera with her at work today.

But I will say , when you know you are pinstriping the edge, you dont have to be quite as fussy about perfect edges, when you do it your way , if an edge is a bit shaky , its there for good, so that makes the initial step more critical. Enjoy, Mark

Yeah I know, I've got probably 6 hours into just taping. I am 1/8th inch flexible tape so I can get smooth radius's but I have to usually lay each line down 3 or 4 times to get it perfect.
I sprayed the 2 fenders today and decided instead of having the stripe guy add the yellowish/gold on the tips, the transition is much better airbrushed, so I added them before clear. I'll add some tips to the tank tommorrow and a bit of clear and take it to my friend to do the red pinstripe border. I'll probably pick it up on thursday and clearcoat everything , Hopefully I'll be buffing on saturday.
