i used to work at a chevy dealer and we had that same blowtern, we were going to paint a big *** 3500 and the floor just gave out man. that **** suck. lol nice paint i use ppg at work we got the agua base that stuff sucks

So Instead if a real thin pinline ,I wanted a retro-ish washed out redish color on the outline, but something bold that would give sort of a 50s-ish hotrod look.
I dunno what do ya think, and please I'm a big boy and won't be offended by any comments from folks who dont like it .....

Jake, I saw your sporty in another post. If I remember right you regret selling that one and I can see why. I would like to get my hands on an iron head. Had a neighbor that had a sweet one and I really liked it.

That sportster looks GREAT. Yeah I have painted a bunch of bikes solids and 2 tones but this is my first flame attempt ( probably because its my own ) Its a bit time consuming. At first I was trying designs that would let me use the stock " Harley Davidson " emblem because I like the style, but it really limits the available space to work with. I can see that that may have been the case with the sportster. That looks REAL good.

Have fun with him. My son has always liked my bikes and now has his own Sportster and my daughter is a 12 year old biker chick. She absolutely loves to ride!

My daughter is 12 as well::
Ok so I went over this morning and just gave everything a quick wetsand down to flat with 1500 and buffed them up. I promise these are the last pics I'll post till they are on the bike, but its a sunny morning ( 20degrees ) here in Mass. so I took some outside pics. Now if we can just get rid of this freakin' snow ...
