12 years of waiting to buy a bike? Damn, you have more patience than I do. I guess that's the interest you pay for being a tightwad, but to each his own. Please note that I did not recommend paying the minimum amount for 84 months. I'd agree with YIKES for anyone who did that.

Join a Credit Union. If you have direct deposit and they take the payment right out of your account they may knock off 1/2 a percent or be more willing to lend you the money. If you have a credit card from them, they may knock off another 1/2 percent. If you have a credit card now, they may give you a lower interest rate on their card than you are paying on your present card if you transfer the balance to them. If your credit card balance is "up there", that in itself may save you more money than a percent or 2 on the bike loan. Doesn't hurt to ask. Most of them have their rates listed online. Talk to them and see what they will do for you. Shop around.
