Just installed a Le Pera Daytona sport smooth (around 250$ fom Zanotti's). Much more comfortable than the stock HD seat (I have a 07 WG). In comparison to stock it's lower, narrower near in the thigh area (both of which help with reach problems), gives better back support, is of much better quality, and looks ace. I have no experience with C&C seats so I can't compare, but I am extremely happy with my purchase. You might want to consider this option. BTW I didn't go with the gel option. Also I haven't tried it for passenger comfort but should not be that great. But Le Pera also makes a Daytona 2-up seat that looks just like mine but with a wider area for the passenger.
