Default Easy Bracket Help

I am trying to install a set of easy brackets on my 2006 Street Bob. I attached the docking hardware and when I try to set the bracket inplace it will not attach properly. I tryed loosening the bolts and the bracket falls into place. I then tighten the bolts and the brackets will not come off. I have been working about 2 hours on this. It has to binding somewhere but I cannot find it. I was hoping somebody else might have had a similar experience. Any ideas will be attempted.

Default Not so easy brackets

I had the same problem installing mine. It took some tweaking but i was able to make it work. If i remember correctly, you have to loosen the mounting bolt that goes through the saddlebags to get them on the bike, then adjust and tighten while they are on the bike until you can get them on and off easily. They still need some wiggling around occassionally to get them on and off but i just love them.

Are you talking about the bolts through the strut? Try a washer between the mount and the strut if it is putting pressure on the mounts when tight, that should space them properly.
I had no such problems so not sure without seeing it. just a matter of clearance.

Thinking of getting these myself. Let us know how it works out cuz I don't want to get into a situation where they don't work properly. Thanks for posting.

Default Still having Issues

I finally got the right side to attach but it looks like crap. I had to add a spacer to unbind the bracket. I repeated the same idea on the left side and it binds up also. I am out tinkering with the bracket now and hope to have a solution soon.

Be sure to post all the instructions when you get done. If I have to spend as long as you did I'm likely to need a therapist before I finish.

Default Strut Covers

I just got done talking to the easy bracket folks and they said my stut covers need to be on the bike for them to work. I am going to reinstall them tomorrow and see if that fixes the issue.
