I am thinking about doing this to my '12. Anything change from '11 to '12?

The only two adapters I can find are 2" I.D. x 1 3/4 I.D. and 2" I.D. x 1 3/4 O.D.

We sure it is OD to OD for the '11 and up?

I just got done with this mod on mine. I got 1 3/4 ID to 1 3/4 OD and cut about an inch off then and it worked perfect. Just as a warning these are loud! I love the rumble at idle. Very cool mod for under $50

Okay, I have these on my '12 FXDWG and did NOT put in glass packing. Does the glass packing add deepness to the muffler? I would like a deeper tone to it and was wondering who has done this? Does it even matter?

I know this is an old thread, but I just did this to my '12 SB and I love the sound. They sound like a Harley should now. The best part is the deep rumble. Glad I did this instead of spending $2-600 on an exhaust system.

I did this a while back. I ended up putting my Thunderheader back on, but then I decided to go back to this mod.
I had sold the mufflers I did before, so I had to do this again. This time I got better baffles from CS. The were the same design, but the grade seemed better.
