I have a 2012 FXDWG and am trying to sort out this thread.
I want to change the baffles on my stock pipes and am wondering if these baffles from CS will fit despite saying they are for screaming eagle muffs.
"1553 PERFORMANCE BAFFLE FOR DYNA FAT BOB
These Performance Baffles replace the current baffles in Screamin' Eagle Mufflers Part No. 80674-08 for 2008-2010 Dyna Fat Bob (FXDF) and 2010 Dyna Wide Glide (FXDWG)for improved sound and power." http://www.cycle-shack.com/cycle/ago...ANCE%20BAFFLES

Thoughts?
I used the 1546 and with the adaptor was the exact size I needed with no cutting. You just have to make sure the finished length is the same as your stock baffles.
I used the 1546's in my stock Street Bob and had to cut the adapter. Just did my buddies 2012 Wide Glide this morning and used the 1547 17 5/8" baffles and adapter with no cutting. If doing a FB or WG I would suggest using the 1547's. Just my .02.
I did this a while back. I ended up putting my Thunderheader back on, but then I decided to go back to this mod.
I had sold the mufflers I did before, so I had to do this again. This time I got better baffles from CS. The were the same design, but the grade seemed better.
You know the CS part number your went with this time around?
What did you do that might have been different from the last time you did it?
I have a 2014 Fatbob, I ordered the new CS baffles to do the mod only to find the mufflers are a larger diameter (+4mm), I have made a shim out of flat 2mm stainless and rolled it into rings to fit between the baffle flange and the muffler. I plan to use the baffle mounting bolts to secure the assembly. I'm also planning on lining the can with FB mat and have rolled 2 pieces of ss woven wire screen into cylinders to support the FB mat. I'll post some pics if anyone is interested?
