anyone have there rear fender off there 03 dyna
as some know i bought an 03 fxd last fall.well i have been thinking my rear fender was bent,but as i was looking at the rear struts it looks as if the tip of the struts are bent and pushing the fender in a tad,but enough to make the fender look bent .what i need is someone to measure there struts tip to tip,so i can see how much mine need bent back.hope this makes since

i'm not positive, but if i remember back from my rebuild this summer, it was 7 1/2" between struts
edited to add: its the same as the measure between the struts closer to where the shocks mount. if your measurement is constant, you should be fine. is it possible that whoever installed the backrest left the original plates in there and just added the uprights, squishing the fender?
