Maybe staple a piece of rope onto the 2x4 that you pull up after getting bike leaning to the right.... Then you could pull it up without reaching down and leaning over to the left!

Brilliant. I love it. I wondered what the hinge was for. Now I get it. Great idea.

Default $20 bike lift

Your invention is cool buddy, it's your idea. I copied an idea and swear by it...the $20 bike lift is good too, easy peasy like yours, holds the bike really steady whether you have the front or back wheel off the ground. I use mine all the time to clean the laced wheels on my bob.

Thumbs up Works Great!

I got my stand built last night and it works great! I would recommend it to anyone. It only took about 20 minutes to build. The only thing I did different was leave the plywood off the bottom. I tried it first without it and it just cleared the frame.

Thanks Condition001!

my only reasoning for the plywood, was that it was unstable when you really wrench on the scoot. i actually got the bike to rock a little once and that made me nervous.
