When I got my bike last year I got what the dealer has, an HJC 3/4 helmet. Not a bad helmet, but is is huge on top and I look like the Great Gazoo in it.
I'd like to get a nice 3/4 helmet with a lower top so it's not so bowling-ball-like. I have a fat head so I need to try things on, but other than the dealer I don't know where else to go for helmets. The only other motorcycle store I found sells stuff more for the ATV/dirt bike crowd.
I am looking for something like a vintage Bell helmet. Otherwise maybe I will just go with a 1/2 helmet from H-D and googles.
Surprised you can't find a Harley branded helmet that works for you. I've got three different Harley helmets all which are excellent quality and cool designs on them.

I dont understand why anyone would wear anything larger than a half helmet...3/4 or full you may as well be in a cage!!...and they look goofy to boot!!...:>)
I have two 3/4 helmets. A Nolan N-42 and a Fulmer 655.
The Nolan is pobably better quality and the extra tinted shield is nice for riding in places where the the sunlight can change quickly do to trees or weather. http://www.nolanhelmets.com/n42encom.htm

I guess ignorance is bliss. Some people are more worried about how their head looks than protecting what's inside it.
I wear a full-face helmet all the time. Not just in case I crash, but it also keeps bugs, sand, and other debris from smacking me in the face. I've had rocks fall off trucks and smack my helmet all over the place. When you run into that surprise rain storm, it's nice to keep riding without those drops stinging your face. When it's cold, that goofy full face keeps my face warm.
Hell, I'll look goofy for those benefits. At least people will know I'm not posing.
