not true. Once you factor in the new fork internals, triple trees, brakes that fit the forks, axles, and modifications required to make a gsxr front end work, the costs sky rocket.
unless you pay 3k,or thereabouts for a jap front end,they're about 150 - 400 bucks here,complete,factor in,new stem,bearings etc,well under 600.you can get a complete running halfway decent gsxr here for 1k and upwards
