Will be buying a fxdf next spring and would be interested in seeing two up pics so I can see if my wife will be comfy. It'll be a hell of alot easier convincing her that we NEED it!!! Thanks guys.
the passenger seat slopes down a bit so I had the medium hight sissy bar installed and it made a world of difference to my wife.Prolly on long trips I will have to get a seat with a more padded passenger pad.
My girlfriend says she really likes the stock seat, but she has only been on thirty minutes and under trips. I think if she wants to do long trips I'll buy a different seat.
She also loves to just throw her arms around me and hug me hard. Which is not a bad way to ride, if only she would stop sometimes nibbling on my neck!
I don't have any pics but the wife and I have rode a bit, up to a couple of hour rides and she says she is pretty comfortable. It was a different story before I got the sissy bar though so I would say that is a must.
Here are some pics from basic to extreme so you have plenty of options for riding two-up.
The first shot is of the stock seat and original backrest that HD sells with the sissy bar. The wife never complained with this set up except for on real long rides (greater than 5 hours). The second has the Corbin Dual Tour seat and a wider pad on the same sissy bar. The third and fourth are self explanatory with the Corbin as well. One guess as to which her favorite is. The beauty is that it can go back to the way you bought it in a matter of seconds. The saddle bags are on usually all the time.
