Also works great if you need to drain the gas tank for removal. Creates the vacuum necessary for the fuel to drain.

I use the same method Archer described. I got the hand pump from Harbor Freight about 4-5 years ago for under $20 and it's even a Mighty Vac brand. I also included a bottle for drawing fluids.

One of the biggest problems with filling these systems is when pumping the master you are trying to pump air bubbles down hill. They don't like going downhill. Eventually with three steps forward and one back you will get there but a more productive method is to fill from the caliper with a large hypodermic syringe and plastic hose on the breather. Open bleeder, pump and near the end of the syringe travel close bleeder. Repeat until master fluid level is correct. Might take one normal caliper pumping and final bleed to remove slight air near the nipple. Works like a charm. Picked this up doing my aircraft brakes as I couldn't be in two places at the same time both pumping and bleeding. Second method if you have a vacume pump like Sears sells, and a baby food jar with two pipes soldered in the top it will give a rapid evacuation much faster than pumping but you have to be carefull not to suck the master dry or you have to do it again. One pipe goes to the bleeder, the other to the hand pump, with the fluid ending up in the jar. I see the previous poster supplied the data while I was typing.

After installing speed bleeders I can now bleed my brakes in 10 min. by myself. Here's the link. https://www.speedbleeder.com/ They work great!

pop some speed bleeders in there take ya 2 min... i rev bleed systems with a suringe, inject the brake fluid in... then i use eihter speed bleeders or i use a mighty vac.
another trick is to bench bleed the system. basicly you put the brake line in the master and pump it till it flows... then you can conect that line to the caliper, pour in some fluid thought he beeder hole, instlal the bleeder, then bleed as normal... really helps on duel brake systems
