Default Help! need help adjusting a clutch pack.

I need help adjusting my clutch able and pack.
1. on the cable just some clarification. I assume up is tight and down is loose, is this correct?

2. when I try to loosen the nut on my clutchpack the clutch spins. How do I stop this?

3. I recieved the large round gasket that goes on the outside instead of the thin one that goes on the inside

Thanks

Those are good but not very descriptive.
Iwas able to figure out, up is loose on the cable, but and the clutch is harder to turn, but still spins.

cable is all the way loose.

once you adjust the clutch you have to tighten the cable back up to take the play outta the lever!

Its adjusting the clutch I have a problem with. When I try to unscrew the nut on the lutch pack, or the hex bolt in the clutch pack, the clutch turns.

Also is the standard true, left loose right tight?

you need an allen wrench in the center screw and a wrench on the outer nut... turn the nut counter clockwise while holding the center shaft from moving with the allen wrench.. i reccomend a service manual to if you dont already have one..

sometimes you have to give the handle a tap on the ratchet to break it loose! counter clokwise!
