man, between the rotor/stator and the ipb, i feel like i'm ridin a tickin time bomb.

Ya I hated that fu**ing feeling, so I replaced both wether I needed to or not! Good thing I did cause my rotor was about to fall apart!

Tell us again how many miles you had when you found your problem Chad. Inquiring minds want to know.....


..man, I'm riding to Daytona with 20K on the odo with the original rotor while waiting on the SE comp to show up in the mail....<biting nails>

I pulled mine apart a few days ago and all the bolts were still tight but i went ahead and welded the bolt heads any way, My ipb was replaced at 12k and now have 22k and the bearing semmed to be just fine.

I replaced the rotor & stator at 12,000, 2 bolts were out & 1 was loose! IPB was fine, but I replaced it anyway, better peice a mind!

So does anyone know how the model year and build dates go?

I have an 07 with a build date of 06/06 so was this an early or mid model year?

From what I understand you cant see the offending bolts just by taking off the primary?
