Default V&H Shortshots Install Question

I have a pair of black shortshots coming next week and in an attempt to save $250 (that is the price my dealer wants to charge to just bolt them on the bike), I am going to try installing them myself. I have read through the instructions several times now but am unsure about the first two steps...

Instructions are here:
http://www.vanceandhines.com/download/D530IN.pdf

1. Remove seat to gain access to rear oxygen sensor connector. Unplug sensor and feed end of wire through frame to free it from motorcycle. Note: Pay attention to wire routing for re-installation.

2. Remove two bolts holding rectifi er onto front of frame (near front tire). Open plastic cover to gain access to front oxygen sensor connector. Unplug sensor from harness. Remove cable tie holding wire to frame and feed end of wire through to free it from motorcycle.

I don't have the service manual (yes, very bad of me I know) and due to that fact, I have no idea how to locate these two O2 sensors.

Has anyone done this recently that might be able to help?
The rest of the install seems pretty straight forward - am I getting in over my head?

If you are that concerned take pics before you take things off so you can refer to them when putting it back together. I have also found it helpful to have a few extra flange nuts on hand in case you lose one. Don't ask how I know. Simple install although I don't have the o2 sensors on mine.

Do you have a part number for these so I can pick some up at the dealer?

I don't know the part number. Just go in and tell them you need exhaust flange nuts for a 2006 street bob. they'll know. I think they are 50 cents each or something.

Good deal. Now, does anyone have a photo of where the O2 Sensors plug in at under the seat and in the front of the bike? That is all I am missing and I've got a hell of a lot of cables under the seat.

Take the heat shields off the stock pipes and you will see the front and rear sensors on the pipes follow the wire off the sensors to the connectors, disconnect the conectors, the front is under the plastic cover behind the rectifer that the instructions tell you to remove to gain access to the connector. The rear is under the seat as the instructions say. I jusy did this myself after Xmas when I put on my VH Pro Pipe.

I followed the wires from the O2 sensors back to the plugs.

Follow the o2 sensor wire (they plug into the pipes) from the pipe to where ever they connect. Tie a piece of string to the connector that the o2 wire plugs into to mark it. Once you have the o2 wires installed on the new pipes, just trace the string back to the connector and plgg the o2 wire back in. Short shots are so easy to install! Don't forget antisieze on the o2 sensors before you thread them onto the pipes.

Be careful with those Flange bolts...don't strip 'em or over torque 'em.
