Default need help with Model T light

I can't get the damn thing to work consistently! I will test it and it works fine. Then I'll wire it and it works. Then when I finish wrapping it up it won't, or after a couple rides! I'm so F@%KIN frustrated with this thing. If I didn't have so much time and money wrapped up in this setup I'd throw the damn thing in the trash. Does anyone else have one that works correctly? Do I need to run a ground for it? It's not wired for one.

Thanks for the help.......please, before I break this thing.

I have one, i had to grind a little of the paint off of the bracket to get a solid ground connection via the axle.

The ground is the fame of the bike not the wired ground.

+1 your ground is not clean... when you bolt the part on it should act as the ground...

+2 bad ground, you may need to run another ground wire back to the source, if you cant get a good ground to you mounting bracket.

Thanks guys. I was wondering about that. I am gonna have to rig a ground up. Now that I walked away from the bike for a bit I think I can work on it without smashing it with a hammer!
