Lookin for a member who had a picture up of his bike that looked like normal stock apes BUT looks like he took the right side mirror and put it on the left but inverted (stem down)
I only ride with the left mirror on because I hate things sticking up from the bars....
Rode this way for 41 years now without a problem.....
Hopefully someone here seen his pictures here and could tell me where to find him....
Thanks........pretty soon SPRING here !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks Panic Fan for the quick reply.......Maybe the "mirror heads" could be switched so you don't have that convex R/S problem....
I bought one black L/S mirror but will buy the right and invert it if the heads could be changed....
Thanks again
I read somewhere that the mirror/glass can be removed by heating the head assembly. Not sure how the stem attaches to the head though. Maybe I'll try to pull apart the normal L/S mirror as I have no intention of using it again.
I haven't had a chance to ride it with the inverted mirror (bought the bike, had the bike delivered, tore the bike apart) but I found that the inverted stock mirror has limited visibility because it doesn't have the advantage of looking over your shoulder. One of the longer stemmed mirrors should stick out to the left more and be able to see around your chest better.
