Default mirror vibration

New HD rider here, riding on 08 fatbob, the mirror on the right vibrates much more than the mirror on the left is this symptomatic of a failing mirror or does the right side just vibrate more than the left?
Anybody got experience to share?

I have the opposite. My left mirror shakes and my right does not. Rode my 10 street bob in today to work and noticed it. Going to check to make sure the mirror is tight when I get it home.

Yep, make sure the mirror and the housing is tight. The housings they are attached to can come loose too.

Welcome to the uniqueness of HD. Don't start over tightening too much because what you are talking about is pretty normal.

I should follow you're lead. I don't use them unless I'm on the highway...and it's usually one the left side.

I guess I am lucky as mine are rock solid on my 07 Low Rider....both right and left...Could be the reason that I have not yet swapped them out....Make sure they are both tight...

I haven't confirmed this yet but I understand that some mirrors do it and others (stock) do - the HD script mirrors don't..........or so I've heard.

My right mirror shakes and the left not as much. When on the highway and looking in the right mirror you would never know a cop was behind you, just a blur. Took it in to the stealership and they said, yep you guesed it, "thats normal".
