i own a 2008 fat bob, bought it last july. Have been looking and waiting for a while now to upgrade the exhaust, im running a set of cycle shack slip-ons. I may keep them and go with a big sucker breather and do the dynojet module. But Im wondering, is anyone running anything besides the various slip-ons, thunderheaders, or vance and hines pipes? It seems like theres still not much choice out there for pipes from different aftermarket places, but I would love to be proven wrong if anyone has found anything new. I used to run hooker troublemakers on a sportster, but nothin out there for my bob yet. Even some madustas, or something unique would be great. Noise is ok but an increase in power and a healthy motor is what I think about just as much. Anyone got anything new?
I ordered Rineharts Cross Backs yesterday for my 09 Fat Bob I pick up tomorrow. They are pricey but never heard anyone say bad about Rinehart's except the $$ it takes to owne them.
When I get them on look for my thred I will post up Pics. My second choice was V&H Big Shots they look and slound great goodluck with ya choice...
I run my '08 fatbob with arlen ness , rush 1.75 and the SE download sounds and feels great, but if I was into changing I would look at bassani, man I love the way those pipes look , all black with chrome heat sheilds
Edit= Sorry man i went to their web-site and they don't make 'em for dynas (yet) Go ahead and enter your name and you could win a set of prototypes! ,I can't 'cause I'm in .CAnaDA
