Default Big City Thunder baffles?

Wanted some feeback on riders who have installed Big City Thunder baffles into their stock headpipes. Does the performance and sound quality warrant the purchase? I'm running the stock headpipes right now into D&D slip-ons. How easy is the install? Just drill and bolt?

I had them in my SE-II Slip-Ons ans loved them. didn't notice a performance impact, but the super deep sound was great. In the SE-IIs, you just unbolt and replace the baffles.

I have the same question about these, I hear they pickup low end power but I'm wondering what I lose on the top. I hear my Sideshots suck for back pressure compared to the 2in1 systems and think the BCT QQ baffles might do the trick.http://www.bigcitythunder.com/pages/...erMonster.html

+2 on BCT baffles! I also have them in my BR and they sound awesome! As performance goes, I was told if you have them with the washer facing towards the end of the pipe it's more low end tq and with them flipped around it's more top end.

BCT only has baffles that fit my stock head pipes.....if i install these does this mean that i have to remove the ones from my D&D slip-ons?

Never heard of installing them in headpipes. Have the QQ series in my Big Radius, but their 6" from the end of the pipes.

I installed them in my head pipes over the winter, haven't had enough road time to be able to tell if they increased performance but they did tone down the loud exhaust my cycle shacks were giving off. They added a deeper tone and made the exhaust tone about perfect so they did exactly what I wanted them to do. They were worth it to me.

When installing in the headpipe....i'm assuming you have to drill about 3-4 in. from the end, otherwise it would be impossible to tighten the slip-on over the headpipe with that bolt exposed....?
