Default Decals

So I have been looking for emblems for the SB and don't see anything I like. I was thinking how hard could it be to sand the tank down and throw some decals on that I really like? One thing how do I do this? Do I wet sand with some really fine sand paper just a little? How do I apply the clear over the decals? Take the tank somewhere? Will a paint shop do everything for me for a decent price? Just Brainstorming.

I dont think it would cost all that much to have a paint shop install the decal and clear the tank for you. I dont know alot about painting but i just painted my rear fender with a spray can and it turned out great. I am sure someone here can give you an idea how to do it yourself too.

I think if you are willing to have it cleared you should find someone good at hand painting some script that you like and have it cleared..
Just my opinion but decals painted over look like (decals painted over)..

I would have an artist paint the design / decal you like. Check my thread from a couple of days ago (pin-stripes anyone?). A bunch of dudes gave me some great websites with awesome designs.
