I friend put a tank lift ,not sure whose, on his WG and the trees put a nice little dent in the tank. I would like to put a 2" lift on mine but don't want to risk the dent. Is there a solution for this?

Thanks

Is this anything touring bikes do? Any pics out there? Is this a dumb question? I'll apologize in advance if it is.

+1 for Jackyl's tank lift. That plus 2" risers made a world of difference. Love the old school look (since I'm old). New sigpic coming as soon as the weather cooperates.

I think it actually shows the motor better.

It is a subtle mod. people look at the bike and see something different, but can't quite pick it out.

I love the way mine made the tank curve line up with the seat curve.

i had the same problem. i had to elongate the holes in the rear mounting tabs to move the tank back about 1/4".
