I think about her going down and try not to let it bother me. We went down last year and she broke her arm. Had just left a friend's house I was on my Buell M2 coming up behind her to get in riding position. Grabbed to much front brake in sugar sand and over the bars I went. We think she saw me go down and did the same. Don't really know what happened we hit own heads so hard on the ground that the helmets were destroyed. If it was not for the hats my kids would be orphans. Thought that was it for riding, but she got back on when the doctor said ok. Now look at us motoring down the road. We have been married for 18 years and she is my best friend.

Not sure it's a 'step up' but they are two completely different bikes. Congrats to your wife on a new ride. Give her my well-wishes.

You guys are lucky. My wife won't ride on the back or the front. I gave up after 2 years of trying. So my bike is configured for 1-up and I cannot afford to buy my girlfriend a bike either.

I like when my chick rides with me but I also appreciate the solo riding I get to do. I'm solo about 80% of the time. Why doesn't she want to ride with you? Is she stuck on riding her own?
