Default Parts question

I recently purchased an 09 Fat bob. I would really like to put the Battistini shifter rod , and shift linkage on the bike. The fitment however, is only for 86-08 FLTs. Any one out there with these parts on their bike or have any words of wisdom here?

Well I'm sure it's labeled that way for a reason.

The FLTR (Roadglide) uses floorboards and a heel/toe shifter (I think). Considering that, the shifter linkage you are looking at probably has different dimensions than what you need for your bike.

The part may fit, but it may not be comfortable to use.
