I swear I'm ganna ghost ride this bike off a cliff.
Had a new tire put on the rear. The mech told me this is his 2nd bike he's seen that the rear axle had to be beat out. He thinks HD is not using enouph grease when they assemble the bikes.
Since my tire was replaced two weeks ago - when its cold, and slowly pull from a stop in 1st, you can feel a grinding/vibration through the pegs coming from the rear. If you use the rear brakes lightly at low speed, I get the same results. Riding normal - no problems.
The brakes are fine, and the belt tension is good. Has anyone had this problem? I am going to buy a jack in the near future so I can see and do things myself.
VERY common for the rear axel to not want to come out... i had to use a punch on mine and had to do this on prob over 20 other bikes... i just use alot of anti seize when i put them back together. HD mechanics are not the brightest... in all honesty i would double check his work, unless it is a reliable dealer that you trust then you can be ok.
what you are saying sounds like a warperd rotor... either that ORRRRR CHECK YOUR PULLY BOLTS! THEY MAY BE SCRATCHING THE SWING ARM... THEY BACK OUT EVERY NOW AND THEN AND CAN CREATE SOME ISSUES!
