My rear tire suddenly became squirrely. Not sure why. I haven't lifted the bike to shake the rear wheel because my sporty has been on my fear lift but, everything looks okay.
by squirrely, i mean that the rear feels like it is ready to shoot out in either direction at any given moment. Last change i made was adjusting the air pressure. Does that seem like something that would cause a wacky rear tire? There were two cheek puckering moments over the past weekend were the rear suddenly shifted left.. this was at low speed.~40mph.
If you adjusted the pressure up, I would doubt it (unless it was a BIG adjustment!)... Some kinds of tires really need more pressure than OEM though, so if it was a downward adjustment... I dunno. Still seems unlikely.
Rear wheel alignment? Adjusters? Did you do anything that could affect rear wheel vertical alignment? When I got mine right, the rear definitely felt better...
Front or rear motor mount? If the motors moving too much, so is the swingarm...
These issues are maddening... There are so many variables at play in a Dyna chassis!
