Worked with the guys at Haulen *** on getting their new back rest in black. Customer service was top notch. These guys go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied. I know not everyone is into backrests, but if you are looking for a lower profile this is a great little set up. Just got back from Daytona and the girl rode over 200 miles without one. Now that I have this on she is much happier and ready to go on longer trips. Hope those of you that have been interested in these will find these pics beneficial. If you need any additional angles of pictures let me know and I will throw them up.
That looks great, thank you for the pics. I also want to get a black one for my bike so I PM'd them with a couple of questions, hopefully I will hear from them soon so I can get it on my bike!

Just ordered mine, can't wait to get it!

Reason: update
Backrest looks great ..... the black looks good on your ride. Welcome to the Forum ..... and great looking SuperGlide. How many mods to get the fairing to fit?
it was a little bit of work to get the fairing mounted. Had to cut the brackets down a bit to get it to fit snug. I used my quick releases from the HD sport windshields so that caused a little more work. I posted some pics a while back and Icecaps has posted some information on it as well.
I think this backrest is the best there is. I have my chrome one getting powdercoated gloss black as we speak. They only had chrome a couple months ago. www.haulinass.com
Looks good. Thinking of getting one of these but I'd like to know more about it...
Is it strong? Can you lay back on it with some weight? Seems like all the pressure would be placed on the fender which scares me a little. Whereas a regular backrest with side plates puts the pressure on the struts.
