Default Front Forks

Hi
Just wondering if anyone can help with this.
I own a 2007 FXDC,i have replaced the factory rear shocks 12.5" for 11.5",i was wondering if is ok to lower the front end say an 1" by just pushing the front forks higher through the trees (Yokes).

Cheers Jordan
Thanks for the help.
I know a lot lower the forks this way on their sports bikes to get more weight on the front end for better handling.
But wasnt sure if this was fine with the big cruisers.
Thanks Again

Default Fork tube raise

Just did it a few days ago as a way of seeing if it would help buffeting by clamping the QD above the top tree. Notice NO handling differences so far; jury still out on buffeting, though it DOES open up a big-a$$ hole for air to get in above the headlight. If you try it and before shearing off any T-45 tools in the clamp bolts, take Joe's advice and give each bolt a good shot with a hammer and punch. I used a punch that just fit inside the splines, and a 3/4 serious blast from a 32-oz ballpein...could'a removed 'em one-handed with a 1/4" drive Taiwanese Torx after that (thanks Joe!!)
