iv searched every were for an oil temp gauge for my 07 fxdb but absolutly no luck, id even settle fo a pressure gauge. any one seen or heard anything?
I have also been looking for a oil temp gauge with no luck. I do have a oil pressure gauge. I got mine from harley. It cost about 80$. I change the plastic line with a steel braided line. I also powder coated the bracket black.
Dakota digital has all kinds of additional guages. Oil temp and pressure.
However you can add any type of mechanical or electrical gauge providing you have the sending unit for that gauge. Doesn't have to say "fits on <your bike here>".

RH, HD offers a Pressure Gauge. I don't think they have the Temp Gauge.
I ended up with AutoMeter for both.
Like archer said, there are a lot of ways to go on this type of instrument.

At one time I used the HD gauge
and mounted it tucked in tight on the horn side of the machine.......

there is this one too. i was looking ta the harley one but i was told that hose is junk. so i was thinking of this one since it is already powdercoated black and had a russle hose. they are like 120 compared to harley 70-80 but once you powdercoat and get a new hose you might as well get this one

I picked up a 1.5" oil temp. gauge on a clearance table at a Harley dealer last Summer. The part # is 74513-04. It will not work on newer bikes because all the oil lines are now internal - no place to tap into. So after several other winter projects, my next purchase is going to be an oil cooler - then I will have a line to tap into. Might be a solution for you if you are willing to look around since it's out of production.
Its a nice little gauge that will fit perfectly below the speedometer, and not hit the tank, etc.
