Default Need Help With 09 Street bob

I have a 2009 Pewter Denim Street Bob.. As you know the engine is no longer black but I am contemplating Wrinkle Blacking my Horn cover, breather, and Big Shot V&H pipes...But am skeptical of how it will look. Does anyone have any pictures of a pewter 09 with black pipes. And what do you guys & gals think? Just on the fence right now.... I like the Dark Custom look but like the chrome too..

I donīt have any pics, but black pipes, horn and derby will look awesome on that bike...

Paint it yourself with wrinkepaint or get the horn, derby from a NightTrain (ebay). Fits right on.

I think that will look great, i love the pewter denim. You could always get them powdercoated.

Black pipes with red denim...

PS - I also miss the black engine. I am going to get the black derby cover, which should dress up the other side nicely.

I've seen a few pics on this site of Pewter Denim bikes w/black pipes...they look awesome.

I have a wrinkle black horn cover and plan to add a wrinkle black derby cover for better contrast w/the silver motor.

Default THanks

thanks for the replies ya'll, lookin at the red denim, it looks like the pipes are big shots, those look rather good... Now do you think Wrinkle Black Pipes would look good or just the FLAT...I say that because I have wrinkle black and no flat on the bike, although the pewter is flat.... It's driving me nuts.... I hate to do the pipe sleeves and not like em...Once again if you guys have any pics of pewter 09 bobs with black pipes please share.... Thanks again for the help and advise.

Here is a better pic for ya:

PS - I would go with the wrinkle black in your case, if possible.

i sure like the way those pipes are lookin, I think maybe wrinkle might be too much for the pipes....Maybe if I did the breather horn and pipes all flat it might help even it out a little
