Sucks dude, Know how it feels! Took my 67 nova to lunch, while inside I heard a weak atempt of a burn out, a guy came in & said who ever has the nova...a white explorer just hit it and took off. Jumped in my car & thought I seen it goin down the blvd, opened her up, got sideways commin out of the parkin lot, got pulled over & got a mother fu**in wreckless driving ticket. Couldn't calm down & the rookie fk'n cop didn't believe a word I was tellin him. After I got the ticket I finally looked at the rear & only had a dent in the bumper. Still f'd up my week!
Sorry to hear that man. I can't even imagine of mad and killer instinct you had when you saw your bike. What's wrong with people?!
hope your bike get well soon.
Went to go to lunch today and found my bike laying over on it's side. No body saw anything, doesn't look like it was hit by a car. Busted off the right side Ness mirror, busted grip and throttle rocker, gouged up the switch housing and lots of little scratches here and there. I wanted to get a pic. but the cop had me pick it up before my wife could bring me the camera. I would love to beat the mother suck that pushed my bike over. These little red faces don't look nearly pissed enough to describe my feelings.
Any chance that someone backed into it, maybe hit the tire, that would leave no damage on the left side of the bike and would cushion the hit in such a way that a driver may not have even known that they backed into something.
Hard to imagine someone being that low and deliberately knocking it over.
Sorry for your ordeal....Mine has been backed into twice in a motel parking lot. The second time it was by a motel employee. The bike fell over. They picked it up, straightened up the cover and didn't tell me. Another guest found me 8 hours later and told me. The employee at first tried to deny it. Turned out she had already told her manager and they tried to cover up the event. She had no license or insurance. I getting a cash settlement.
Dude i really feel for ya ...... i have had 2 bikes that have been knocked over .... the 1st one was really banged up ... handlebars were bent and the brake lever was bent almost in half, they propped it up so i didnt notice till i got to it .... my very 1st bike .... jesus i was pissed ... then last summer i left the bike at home cause it was raining and my buddy called me at work to tell me he found my bike on it's side .... just cosmetic damage but still .... i was on fire
cant believe people do that .... just thinkin about your bike being knocked over is getting me fired up.
I had a bike get knocked over at very crowded open air shopping mall right in front of a ton of people. Nobody "saw" anything and the car left without leaving a note. There was an ambulance with the driver in it across the street and he saw nothing either. that was the end of parking there for me. This was on a public street where hundreds of people walk by an hour.
Holy sheeit I would have been pissed.
When I had my Sporty I had some jackass attorney back into it at the jail I work at and luckily someone saw him so he gave the person his card and told me to call him if I find any damage. I luckily didn't find any damage, it looks like he bumped my front tire which scooted the bike back as you could see the scrape marks on the asphalt from the kickstand.
I don't know what the hell I would do if I went outside and found my bike on it's side but I know I'd be cussing up a damn storm.
