So I just finished installing my new Thunderheader in anticipation of my future cam install. I was GIVEN the SE 255's from a 2007 CVO Road King. I want to have my stock heads ported and polished and not spend the money on other heads.
I dont really want to increase the bore size as I am not chasing a TON of horsepower just looking for that little more than stock in performance and sound.
So should I wait and go ahead with the bigger bore with this cam since I am going to get the headwork done as well or would this provided plenty as I usually rided solo but once in a while have a passenger along for a ride.
I suppose another option would be to change to a different piston as well although I dont know if I want to tear the motor down that far?
Just looking for opinions so I can be more confident in what want to do BEFORE I go and spend the money to do it!.....LOL

Why not go with a 103" upgrade, the increase in size will give you more horses and the cams more grunt. Just did the that to my 88" up to 95" w/cams. What a difference.
