Bad ***! The FXDX is a fuc%in amazing bike! I still can't believe HD discontinued them in 05...but ofcourse, I can't understand the logic behind ditching the almighty FXR.
Let me know how that thing performs.
Well here are the pics i promised, you will see narrow glide apes from licks, a laydown plate from haulen ***, pm grips, led rear turn signals, ness stealth mirrors, new derby cover, rear has been lowered, and the kick-*** warheader! You will not see a complete front brake system because i was not sent the length of brake line i oredered, nor will you see the sh*t-eating grin that has been on my face since i made a rain soaked victory lap to celebrate this almost finished round of mods. Also missing is the air cleaner cover, I have made up three of them, so i can change the look of the bike from time to time, i just have to get them to my buddy so he can put some crazy stuff on them. Oh yeah, look ma, no wires! What a pain in the ***!!! I know the bike is filthy, but i wasn't about to let some rain slow me down!
I just bought a Hacker Warheader 2 into 1 w/track tuner (12" muffler) to replace my DB straight pipes I wrapped. Looking for more HP & Torque.
Stupid question...Any tricks to installing the "snap ring" over the end of the exhaust pipe w/out scratching the ceramic coating. Not stupid, just thought there might be an easier way than just "BRUTE STRENGTH". Thanks in advance, Tazzz

2 sets of pliers. Use one on each end and pull them apart. Hold the pipe with your knees.
