Got my warheader today, hacker doesn't make a full exhaust for early model dynas yet, so i decided to see if i could make one of thier 9'' cans with the track tuned core work with my current 2 into 1. that baby slipped right on perfect, sweet!! gonna try and post some before and after pics if i can figure it out! sorry for the crappy pics, but all i had was my cell phone. let me know what you all think.
i actually haven't fired it up yet, but the website says that it is supposed to outperform a thunderheader, if you can believe that. those shocks come stock on fxdx models, they are fully adjustable.

Yeah, so they claim.. It would be interesting to see some Dyno numbers though for sure! How's the quality of them?
And yeah, I wouldn't mind buying some of those stock FXDX shocks. Hear a lot of good things about that stock suspension.
i'll update the post after i get it back on the road, and let everyone know how it feels. i did have to buy those shocks, but lucky for me they came with a whole 2001 fxdx!!! Ha Ha Ha!
btw, quality was excellent, it is supposed to come with a chrome endcap, but i had them powdercoat mine to keep up with the black look, and it came out great!!!!
Well I worked pretty much through the night last night finishing up everything but the front brakes(line was too short! grrrr!) and fired her up, DDAAAAAMMMMNNN!!!!!! It sounded awesome, it was still relatively quiet at idle too. Capped both ends fo the front brake lines, and took it for a quik ride with nothing but a rear brake, y'know, cuz i had to test out the warheader. Man, it felt great, it sounds similar to my other 2 into 1, just throatier, it felt like it had more power too, but that could be me subconciously justifying buying the warheader when there was nothing wrong with the old can. Gonna snap some new pics today and post them, too bad it's raining here, cuz i wanted to ride it again today to see if it really did feel like more power or if it was just me being all giddy about finishing(almost) up a round of mods.
