Does anyone hate the polished aluminum on their bikes as much as me? I get so sick and tired of polishing wheels, trees, and risers to keep it looking decent. Even doing every month or two is still a losing battle to the spots and imperfections. Why doesn't the MOCO have an upgrade option to chrome parts from the aluminum? I'd pay $500 for it. Pretty soon my bike will aluminum free and then I can just fight the rust on the chrome.
I use a Marine polish as a wax on the polished aluminum after the polishing. It's from Starbrite, in a blue plastic bottle. It tends to last longer and not affected by the eng temps or spotted by the rain. I get mine at WestMarine stores.
