Default Had bike dynoed today

Local dealer had their "march madness dyno day" 3 pulls for $20. I couldn't pass it up. HP and TQ only...no A/F and no tuning. I was more interested in the air/fuel, but ran it anyway. The dyno guy told me that with slip ons and AC, I should be in the mid to upper 60s at the wheel. I wasn't expecting much, being that I tuned it myself by feel and sound. Ended up with a max HP=72.56 and max TQ=83.76. MY mods are listed in my sig.

A skilled tuner can squeeze some more out of your bike. My '06 dyna has a stock motor "TC88", Vance and Hines Big Shots Staggard and a hypercharger and i had it tuned on the dyno with a SERT and it has about 81HP and 82TQ and raised the redline and rev limitter to 6,300 RPM. But for what you've done on your own thats pretty good. I spent way too much money on the dyno tuning. Thats why my wifes '07 dyna got a fuel pak.

$20 is a good deal.

I really wasn't interested in the HP/TQ #s, because I'm happy how my bike runs, and almost didn't even do it. I wasn't sure I wanted to know what it was going to tell me, but turned out better than I thought.

Your number look pretty good, You could do a tad better with a little tweaking. By looking at your lines, there is a little sgwiggle in them, that could be smoothed out by advancing your timing about 3 degrees on the front cylinder and 2 1/2 degrees on the rear at the 3500 RPM and up. I disagree about turning your rev-limiter up, your bike stops making power at around 5250 RPM's so why turn it up? No sense taking it up that high when you're not getting any benefit from it. All in all, good deal on the dyno run. But if you are happy with the way it runs, why mess with it.
