I have just purchased a 06 Ultra.I had the SERT installed as wellas V&H headers and Python slip ons.I had the factory set up installed of course.I think the bike runs alittle rich.Should I have the bike dyno'd and how much increase should I see.I am setting at work today watching it snow, parts cpunter is very slow today,so thought of a few things to post. Thanks for any responses....Danny
It will be hard to tell how much of an increase you will see with the SERT and Dyno tune. I can tell you that many members are getting around 10 extra horses out of your setup with a good dyno tech doing the tuning. I would expect you to be between 68 and 72 hp when you get done.
I would definately get it dyno tuned vs. just hoping its all good. Since your using stock slip ons it will be tougher to get a really good tune on the rear cylinder, but with a sniffer they should be able to get you reasonable close. I would not leave the bike in the condition of i think its ok or too rich and possibly try and play with yourself your just asking to get hurt.
Reasonably you should see the numbers in the range that Terry is talking about.
