Default Rear tyre recomendations?
Anyone any advice on this?

Manual says D401 160/70 B17.....but any searches i've done on Dunlop H/D tyres comes up with a k591 match.

You should be able to find the D401. Look a little harder. The 591 is a bit more of a performance tire. A little softer with increased wear. It depends on what you want out of a tire, both will work. I'm a 591 guy. Cheers.

Don't think you'll find a 17" 401. K591 is the stock 17" rear tire on 06 up Dynas.

You can go with a metzeler 16/70/17 or michelin 160/70/17

Spot on. Manual is worse than useless. Took the time to look at the tyre there and K591 is currently fitted.

My local Crotch rocket shop quoted me $115 for the front and $180 for the rear, and they will mount and balance for free.

I'd say definetly do the 180 tire that HD sells. Looks real good
