Just put a new seat on my '09 Bob. Personally think it looks 100% better than the hemorrhoid cushion that comes on the bike and is wayyyy more comfortable. Seat is a stock seat from an 06 or 07 Dyna Low Rider (thanks dpriest!)...
Always thought that stock seat wise, the Dyna Low Rider had the best seat in terms of appearance and confort...

Good lookin bike man! Question for ya, does your new seat move u forward or sit u higher than the stock seat? I'm thinking of getting a new seat myself and was just curious.

Thanks man.. The seat I chose, mostly because other than the Bob, the Dyna Low Rider has the lowest seat height, and after putting the seat on the bike, it almost feels like I am sitting a tiny bit lower, but not much. The seat reminds me of a saddle in the way that it cradles you, so you are sitting in it, as opposed to on top of it like stock.
Because of the cushioned area in back, it does put me forward a tiny bit more than stock, but not so much that it cramps my riding position with mid mound pegs and after 30 minutes of riding, I realized that if I lean back a bit, since the padding in back gives quite a bit, it feels perfect, the stock seat tended to have me resting on my coxis bone. Hope the info helps...
Dude, good looking seat and good looking sissy bar!
Is that an HD one?
Thank you...
The sissy bar is a Küryakyn Raptor bar, which comes only on chrome, but I had it recoated in wrinkle black. Also comes with a detachable back rest that is shaped like the bar for 2 up riding as well (but looks meaner without the pad I think :-))
The side plates are stock HD rigid sideplates, which I also had done in wrinkle black since they didn't come in that finish for my bike...
That actually looks pretty good. How does the passenger section compare to the stock seat?
Stock seat is just a solo seat. IMO, think the 2 up seat goes with the flow of the bike better and is a bit narrower as well, so doesn't have the winged look of stock either..
