They are loud, but the short shots without baffles are louder. So, not louder but a better sound!!

I my self am starting to get tired of the everyone having V&H.

But I just installed BCTs so, that'll wait.

same pipes we got on my brohters chop! man you can drop part # 2002 BCT baffles in there and really get a cool sound and some solid back pressure... the fella's at Martin brohters are great to work with, they custom cut me some heat shields so i could chrome them and then sent me some baffles... i have to tell you, he swiped mine as a joke to see how he liked them... fell in love! now he has a set as well... they are sick pipes, exp that crackle you get coming out of a high RPM into a low gear... oooh man! great pipes!
