I had not ridden for about 30 years so I bought a 1986 Honda Shadow 1100cc. (I didn't want to drop a "good" bike. The Honda has served me well and there is really nothing wrong with it. I just wanted a Harley.

I don't ride enough to put invest the big bucks in a new bike and I like older stuff anyway. (I am rebuilding a '69 TR6).

I am looking forward to getting the bike home so I can start putting some miles on it.

I have an old friend that has a convertible with about 350K miles on it. His is about a '93 or so-not sure (and not sure how many times it's been rebuilt). Those Evo engines will really last.
