Default Risers??

Have been thinking about putting 16" apes on my bike for a while.. Obviously i dont want to keep my big *** Risers so I was wondering what size do you all think i should go with??? Really appreciate your input..

I always liked a 4" riser with 12" apes style wise.

I don't understand why guys run tall risers with apes. Why not just run taller bars?

That is what i am saying and asking.. I dont want to run tall risers with my apes.. asking what size should i run with 16" apes.. lol

I think it's so the bottom of the bars don't hit your tank!! Depending on how wide your bars are I guess!! But then again looking my bike it looks like the top trees are high enough and my stock risers for my mini's look like they might on be an inch, so nevermind I have no clue, but I agree with getting taller bars instead of taller risers.

Good call didnt even think about that.. humm really going to have to go mock something up before getting..

I wasn't fast enough. I added to the last comment! I looked at my bike and I really don't have much for a spacer, so you may be good. I think if you go wider bars it might be a problem when turning the handle bars fully to the left or right.

Yeah i think i am going to moc somthing up just to see now.. dont want to drop a lot of monies into somthing then it F my **** up..

1.5" risers will give you the clearance you need to go to 1.25 or 1.50 apes.
