I installed my 412 Progressive 11 inch shocks this weekend, and Engot was right, the look of the bike really did not change alot, which I was actually glad about. I did not want the front end to look any higher. If you really , really look at it then you may notice the lower end a little, but when you sit down is where you can really tell. I am very happy now with the seat height (remember I am just shy of 5' 5"). I am also having this guy re-do my seat to give me an even lower stance. I will post more pics when my Progressive fork lowering kit arrives in about 3 weeks.
Also for you short guys out there with Street Bobs, I pulled back my apes a little, and boy what a difference it made. I feel much more comfortable, especially during U-turns, and it really didn't change the look at all!
One more note! The bike does not lean as much because of the lower height while on the jiffy stand. I will definitely need to change the stand to a lowered one, especially after lowering the front end.
RE: Street Bob with 11" Progressives Looks The Same
kaduku - What is the stock height of the shocks on the Street Bob? I am thinking of ordering the same shocks with the black springs. Also, did you ever ride with a passenger? Did you get the standard or heavy duty?

I put boths shocks side by side, and the stock looks like 12 inches. I have not riden with a passenger yet, but if I do, I will just set the pre-loads to a stiffer settings. I didn't know there was a standard and heavy duty version. So far, ride is fine.

If you don't mind my asking, what makes these better than the stock shocks (other than they are shorter)? I'm not being a smart-***, I seriously do not know. THANKS!
RE: Street Bob with 11" Progressives Looks The Same
I also installed the 11' Progressives.
I did it mainly to lower the bike and go with black shocks for looks.
However I think they handle better than the stock shocks.
I never did mess with the stock shocks preload adjustment though so...
I have my Progressives set on "3" of 5 settings.
