Just priced tires from here, $280 shipped for both tires (Metz 880's)! Seems pretty decent to me.

Same here...I want the Metz 880 180 rear but dont have the cash to buy new rims. Might have to settle for the SE 180 or the Metz 170 rear.

Having an AVON Storm mounted on my bike as I type...replacing a METZ 880...damned good tire but just wanted to compare it to an AVON....I wouldnt mount another Dunlop if you gave it to me...

how many miles did you get out of your Metz 880? Why did you not like your Dunlop?

Check with your local crotch rocket shop. Mine is going to sell me Metz for $115 front and $180 rear, mounted and balanced for free.

So far, I'm liking my Michelins; Macadam 50 rear, Commander front. Found a bargain at a nearby dealer. Donno how they'll last, but my stock Dunlops were almost gone at 10K.

I went with the SE 170 this time. Just took off a Met after about 8000 miles and it was fixing to start showing threads before too long.

Just went from dunlops to me880s, seems like an awesome tire, in my opinion stock tires on a bike are like stock tires on a car. Not very good at any one thing, but useable for just about anything.
