Default Headlight

I have an 04 Low Rider and want to install a Billet style headlight, problem is the mounting. Can anyone help me with the mounting? My stock headlight mounts from the top and there is no place to mount the Billet style light on the lower triple tree.

I would drill a hole in the lower tree if it was me.

i think that is the correct action to take... Or have a mounting tab welded on (but this may require removal of lower triple tree)

just drill a hole. No need to tap it as the lower trees are not threaded. Also you can purchase a chrome trim plate that bolts right where the current brow is located. The trim plate is stock on the sportster custom model so you can get the part # from that.

If you want to spend the money you can buy a lower tree from a 1200 C it will bolt right on.I would just drill it.

I seen some top mounting lights on the Headwinds website, does anyone know anything about them?

i've seen them before and didn't really care for the look with the eyebrow. I think your best bet is to drill the bottom tree or get a new set of tree's like I did - used to be vulcanworks.com but now exclusively on ebay http://stores.shop.ebay.com/Vulcanwo...34Q2ec0Q2em322
