Default powder coating question

I am going to have some cast wheels coated soon. What is the best way to have them coated. Coat inside of the rim where the tire mounts or not coat where the wheel mounts?

That sounds like a question YOU have to answer... unless it's not your bike. I'd suggest hitting up the guys on here that do PhotoShop to give you a rendering both ways. Once you see it you'll know right away which way looks best for you.

Doesn't need to be coated, a little over spray won't hurt any.

Aaaaaaah! I misunderstood, sorry. In that case it really doesn't matter so long as the beaded edge is done so when the tire is installed everything you see is powder coated. The exception to that would be if the rims are steel, and I know yours aren't.

However, it's my opinion that a good powder coat shop that is focused on quality will coat the inside (tire area) as well so all the metal is coated and protected from corrosion.
